Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

They have anchovies, a lot of places don't - awesome. Expecting the pizza to be just as good.

Wonderful pizza! I made an order for delivery and they were polite and pizza hot. I would recommend this place.

Best regular cheese pizza in Maryland. Period. (And I'm from NY and have very high pizza standards!) Service is great. I work nearby and go at least once per week. The owner knows me and is friendly and fast. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place 100% for their pizza (not sure about other menu items).

I ordered a extra large supreme pizza and got a pizza with almost NO sauce, most toppings were shaved so thin you can see through them (sausage was the only exception). The dough was rather dry and alittle tough to chew. I used a "chewpon" to try this place out, which I have gotten subs from before. Next time I will stick to the subs since even domino's has better pizza.

We have been going to this little Pizza Place for a couple years now. Ever since we discovered their delicious pizza and excellent wings. One of the only places around that serves traditional Sicilian pizza. With free delivery I give Brookside 4 stars easy. The owner knows his regulars by name and goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect and delicious. I have tried many of their non-pizza items as well and most of them have been excellent. Every Time i have ordered delivery the order has been exactly what and how i asked for; even if i give unique instructions like ordering a steak sub with the meat packed separately so the bread doesn't get soggy. If you are in the mood for a great NY style pizza joint with a friendly, out-going staff this is the right place.

Although I tend to stick to plain cheese NY style pizza when I come here, it's always fantastic. They have great fries and a huge greek salad of which I would also recommend. And when grabbing take-out, they always package it up nice, too (for example, poking a hole in the top of the container holding the fries so they don't get soggy). Brookside is my pizza place of choice in Owings Mills. And there's nothing quite like a slice of NY style pizza with fries and a soda - it's the ultimate comfort food.

We are new to the area and needed to find our new pizza place and we definitely found it here. The pizza is amazing and the fact that they deliver is a plus. Not only have we had their pizza but we thoroughly enjoyed their wings as well. They have plenty of meat on them and are perfectly seasoned.

Just didn't like the pizza. For "NY Pizza" the crust was overly stiff. In fact, I am pretty sure I could have been eating sauce and cheese covered cardboard.

Big menu, great variety. You can try something different each time and go a long time before getting through everything. Everything I've had from here, so far, is excellent. I love this place! (I am super picky when it comes to pizza and this place passes my test!) They'll gladly accommodate anything you want, so if there's not enough sauce or cheese for your personal taste, just ask and they'll take care of you. I think the pizza is delicious - veggies are fresh, the pepperoni pizza is a little greasy but that's probably normal for pepperoni... the subs are pretty good too, and the appetizers I've tried (calamari, mozzarella sticks) are good. My one suggestion is that, if you order the Sicilian pizza, make sure to ask them to cook it a bit longer, otherwise it's doughy in the middle. It often takes a little longer than you'd expect, but in my opinion the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. One of the best parts is that we've been there several times (eat in and pick up) and they've never gotten our order wrong. Eating in you see just how busy they are, with a pretty much constant flow of people picking up their orders. We happen to live across the street so it's very convenient for us, but having just moved to the area we're very excited to have found "our" pizza place on our first day in town.

Not quite what it used to be when they opened in New Town. On a positive note, they sell pizza by the slice--great for kids

Like the pizza. Reminds me of the old school thin pizza from when I was a kid. Usually stick with cheese but others are good too. A little light on the sauce but that works on this. I also like the Stromboli and Calzones. Had sandwiches and salad on occasion and they are good as well (pizza is best).

You know I have ordered from them so many times and truly love their pizza. However, I will NEVER order from them again after tonight! One of the employees who work there kept cutting me off when I was trying to spell my street name to him. Then he said over and over again they do NOT deliver to Pikeville and I kept saying I order from you all the time and he kept saying no well we dont go there. Pretty much calling me a liar! I told him I just ordered from you all a few days ago! Then he hung up on me! So I called back to talk to a manager. And the manager took his side telling me that it was my fault for not spelling my address right! To top it all off, he also threw in that no one hung up on me! I own my own business and I know how important it is to always keep your customers happy! They truly make your business! I will never go there again! I will find a new pizza place who respects me and my business I bring to them! Terrible service and rude management!

This place had good pizza. I'm not sure if it was good just because we are usually extra hungry when we order or if the pizza is really that good. We ordered the Marguerita Pizza and it had good flavor.

I think the pizza is great - and considering I have been spoiled by Jersey pizza that should count for something. We typically order our pies well done which rock, but not so much if they are not ordered this way.

The pizza here has a good bubly crust, but seems to be a bit low on the sauce side. There is a good amount of cheese, but I felt it was unbalanced with the lack of sauce. The pizza came nice and hot, and this was the first cheese pizza that looks like real new york pizza (with the big honkin bubbles) Also had a slice of their buffalo chicken pizza, and while the chicken was good, I thought it could use a bit better presentation than throwing slabs of saucy chicken on the pizza.

Nothing special about their pizza. Tastes identical to the 99 cents pizza all over nyc. However the service is horrible. The girl who works the register was the rudest person I've met eating out.

I live close by and this is the place I go for pizza almost exclusively. The pizza is thin crust, the sauce isn't too sweet. They cook the pizzas just right. The make subs and other entrees, but I haven't tried them. The dcor is non-existent, but the staff is friendly. Great for carry-out.

I ordered a the supreme pizza with beef instead of sausage. It is so good! No regrets. I will eat here again! Thin crust fresh toppings, can't go wrong.

If you're looking for good pizza in the Owings Mills area this is a good bet. I've never been disappointed with my food or the level of service. Staff is friendly and efficient. You can get pizza by the slice (except close to closing time) which is nice if the whole family doesn't want pizza. They have a great selection of pizza toppings, they have delicious fresh salads, and tons of pasta, sandwich, and novelty options. The house dressing is a thin, flavorful oil based dressing that complements any salad. You can eat in or get it to go. I've never been given an estimated pick up time longer than 20 minutes. Reasonably priced.

I've been on a hunt for good Pizza in Owings Mills, and everything disappointed me except for this place. Brick oven pizza is hard to find in these parts and these people do it pretty well. It's not quite NYC quality, but it's close. Delivery is fast. Pizza by the slice is pretty convenient. If I had one gripe it would be that the online menu doesn't seem to match up with the real menu. Specifically, the online menu states that blue cheese is on the buffalo chicken pizza, and that is not the case. Not sure about what other inaccuracies there might be, but it's only a little bit annoying. I was stuck with Papa Johns for a long time and I have finally been set free. Thank you, Brookside.

Had an old restaurant.com gift certificate thing (which the staff seemed pretty confused by) for this place so picked up a large cheese pizza and a caesar salad for dinner. The pizza was pretty good, a pretty thin crust but substantial enough that it wasn't saturated in grease. Minimal sauce, which seems to bother others but I'm ok with it. The caesar salad, on the other hand, was awful. The lettuce was fresh, but the dressing was incredibly gross. Not sure if it was homemade or from a bottle, but, it tasted sour and also extra vinegar-y, and it probably was the worst dressing I've ever had.

Pretty good pizza with tasty cheese and sauce. Staff friendly and interior clean. Like that they sell by the slice too. I enjoy that they aren't a chain and have the family and local vibe going. Def returning for more.
